Often enough, parents are reluctant to in-home photo sessions. They worry that their home is too small, too dark, too dull, too messy, not good enough. But these are exactly the things that spark creativity and that put our imagination to work, making the session feel more real and lively. In a studio with white and black screens as well as a handful of borrowed accessories, it doesn’t feel at home. The lighting may be perfect but the setting is more sterile. It’s not as personal as his or hers or as their home. The reason we appreciate these sessions is simply because they allow us to discover who you are. We like knowing that he likes Legos, that she has a nice collection of rocks, or that you have traveled the world together. It is one of these sessions that allowed us to meet an amazing family.
It was on a grey day that we paid a visit to Audrey, Stefan, and their beautiful little Alice. They greeted us in their cozy apartment with such kindness, we simply couldn’t resist their charm. The little one’s numerous smiles were all it took to brighten up the day! Audrey, Stefan, and Alice are a trio made of happiness, softness, and love. Three beautiful souls we had a lot of fun with.
Audrey chose to breastfeed her daughter and allowed us to immortalize this bonding moment.
We love the result, the lighting, and the tenderness of Mom, the goodwill in Dad’s eyes, and the candor in that of the baby.
