Cambodia in Montreal

The province of Quebec is full of surprises. It is a colourful society where cultures mix and match. This is what makes our province so rich. It also makes photographers happy!
Anne Maly and Elias helped add to our cultural baggage by giving us a specific role on their big day. She, Cambodian, was hoping to integrate her culture into the ceremony but also wanted a traditional wedding. The day began when the wedding procession left the groom’s house to get to where the bride was preparing. The street was crowded with people carrying gifts and much love inside their hearts. Elias was smiling more than ever. His happiness was contageous and made us smile. Anne Maly emotionally greeted him according to Cambodian tradition. Her attire looked good on her, as did all four she wore that day. After these rituals which consisted in the most exotic part of their ceremony, the newlyweds changed into their suit and white gown to continue into a more traditional ceremony.
Their wedding transpired love and happiness from top to bottom. Notice how they look at each other in their couple’s session. Their eyes were as glowing as their hearts. That’s so nice to see! The reception took place at Crowne Plaza Hotel and went on into the night. It was filled with great moments and surprises.
Thank you for allowing us to discover your universe and to have allowed us to grow through your big day. We wish you many more years of happiness, as happy as you were that magical day.
