Love in the heart of a library
March 23, 2016
A love story always starts somewhere. By a meeting in a coffee shop, an evening with friends, a face-to-face at the grocery store. It can starts at a street corner, in the middle of a crowd, on a lake shore, in the middle of a subway train. It is unpredictable. It is beautiful. It is surprising. It is unique.
The story of Marie-Christine and Pierre-Yves is born in a library when they were both in school. The newly engaged couple had the charming idea to book the fabulous library of McGill University for their engagement session. A nice wink to their first meeting but also to their future wedding (vintage and old England themed) and their personalities. The bride told us about the venue: “I am a compulsive reader and I love visiting libraries wherever I travel in the world … and Pierre-Yves follows me in my crazyness! It’s a sign that he is ‘the one'”. If the place charmed us immediately by its imposing woodwork, its Anglo-Saxon look and curved lines, we completely fall in love with those two.
With such a magical engagement session, their wedding promises to be amazing. Stay tuned to see photos of their big day soon!
