Save the date: User manual

How much do you know about our “Save the date” sessions?
This session is all about getting yourself familiar with the camera as well as with the one who will be in charge of capturing your most precious moments. It is also an opportunity to allow your photographer to know you better, to discover your personalities, and to find out what you like and what you love. It is a moment to give yourself a personalized gift. Needless to say that we consider this session a MUST, as much for yourself as for us. We really enjoy these sessions because they allow our future newlyweds to let loose and to enjoy some time together, but they also allow us to try out new poses and new ideas, and all the stuff we love about creating memories that reflect who you are!
Okay! So you have decided you want to give this a shot. But you are wondering how to prepare.
The most important choice you will have to make is the setting. No need for an overly popular place. Simplicity is key! It’s also important to choose a place that resembles you, that you particularly like or that is significant for you both. After all, these photos may be used for the invitations or the guest book, right? We personnally particularly enjoy outdoor settings where an activity could take place.
Theme choice is also a good way to make even more personalized pictures. You like downhill skiing? We love! You skate? Awesome! You like shopping at the public market? So do we! Whether you enjoy canoeing, camping, trips, painting, tango or bowling, we want to use all of it! So whether it’s a place, accessories or the way you dress, we will definitely find a way to highlight the things you love.
Which leads us to the question people ask us the most: “What do I wear?”
Our answer is this: something simple that resembles you, that fits you nicely and that is comfortable and suitable for the activity if you choose one. No need to go through the trouble of finding THE perfect dress and THE perfect pair of shoes. The only perfect thing to us is to have you as you are, happy and in love, in front of our lens.
So what do you say? Are you up for “Save the date”?
